Mika Frisk, a partner with the firm, rejoined Bertrand, Fox, Elliot, Osman & Wenzel in 2020, where she previously worked from 2017 to 2018. Her practice focuses on the defense of public entities in the areas of employment, negligent supervision, dangerous condition of public property, and civil rights matters. Ms. Frisk represents clients from pre-litigation investigation of claims through pleadings, discovery, summary judgment, and resolution of cases.
In 2011, Ms. Frisk graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earning her BA in Legal Studies. From 2010 to 2011, Ms. Frisk, who speaks fluent Japanese, attended Keio University in Tokyo, Japan, as an international student studying global politics and government. In 2015, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Frisk focused her studies on civil litigation and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Mediation Theory & Practice.
Ms. Frisk has been an active member of the State Bar of California since 2015. She is admitted to practice in all California State Courts and in the U.S. District Courts of the Northern and Eastern Districts.
